Alfred Lynn Blevins

Alfred Lynn Blevins, 81, of Bristol, VA took his final sail away to heaven on March 23, 2024, to be with the Lord. He attended First Chirstian Church of Abingdon, VA.

He was born in Finney, VA to the late Tivis Blevins and Edith Jesse.

Lynn was a successful businessman in several different industries. He retired from Alpha Natural Resources after a long career of 38 years. A devoted husband, Father, grandfather, and Christian.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Randall Blevins.

Those left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Elizabeth Blevins; stepdaughter Danielle Stiltner (Ashley); grandchildren Jaden Stiltner, Kaylee Stiltner, Natalie Stiltner, Rayanna Neece, and Weston Neece; nephew Terry Blevins; nieces Heather Evans and Raquel Venable. And his canine companion and sidekick his miniature Aussie Doddle, Willow.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday March 27, 2024, in the Combs-Hess Funeral Service with the Tom Crise officiating burial will follow in the Russell Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm prior to the funeral service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Terry Blevins, Kevin Holmes, Tim Cleveland, Jaden Stiltner, Jim Hutton, Rick Smith, and Weston Neece.

Honorary pallbearers will be Norman Cook, Orn Yates, Ronnie Sykes, and Jeff Coleman.
