Bert Allen Salyers

Lebanon, VA- Bert Allen Salyers, age 70, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Born April 27, 1951. He was the son of the late William and Dora Salyers. Bert was a retired truck driver and an avid hunter. He loved to spend time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Cecil Wayne Salyers.

He is survived by his wife: Lorraine Salyers; two sons: Josh Wayne Salyers and wife Sara, Timothy Allen Salyers; sisters: Judy Peotte and husband Andrew, Ella Rose and husband Chris; brother: Buddy Salyers and wife Frankie; grandchildren: Timothy Allen Salyers, Jr., Sabastian Salyers, and Lawrence Salyers; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2022 at Combs-Hess Funeral Service with Pastor Roger Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Interment will immediately follow the service in Temple Hill Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
