Casey Rogers Barton

Casey Barton, age 43, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 4, 2024. 

She was born on December 23, 1980, the daughter of Roger Howard and Rebecca Massie. Casey was a 1999 graduate of Lebanon High School and a 2010 graduate of King University. She taught special education at Richlands Elementary School and Lebanon High School. Casey devoted her heart and soul to her children. She always saw people as the best version of themselves. Casey attended Simple Rhythm Church in Abingdon, Virginia. She was a big fan of Tennessee Football, and never missed an episode of Days of Our Lives.

Casey was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Hudean and Helen Howard, her maternal grandparents James and Dottie Massie, and special cousin, Tony Pugh.

She is survived by daughter: Mollie Barton; sons Cole Barton, Kai Barton, and Logan McGlothlin; brothers: Sean Mitchell, father of her children Rick Barton; mother-in-law Ginger Morrison and husband Kenny; sisters-in-law Christie Marshall, Ashley Smith, Amanda Jessee, Brother-in-law, Jamie Sparks; nephews: Knox Mitchell, Carter Hess. Several other nieces and nephews also survive. 

Funeral service will be conducted 1:00pm Monday December 9, 2024, in the Combs-Hess Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel with the Pastor Craig Barber officiating. Burial will follow in the Ketron Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends from 12pm until 1pm prior to the funeral service. 

Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made the American Kidney Association.
