Cheryl Melinda Hobson

Cheryl Melinda Hobson, age 62, went to be with the Lord Wednesday July 22, 2026. Born November 5, 1963, she was the daughter of the late John and Linda Lou Gobble Duty. Cheryl loved spending time with her family, she was a graduate of Lebanon High School, enjoyed crocheting, coloring grey scale and she attended Maple Grove Community Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father: Kenneth Higgins and wife Bobbie.

Cheryl is survived by her husband Donnie Hobson; sons: Brandon Hobson and Bryan Hobson; brothers: Darrell Duty and wife Angie, Jeff Duty and wife Debbie, Jesse Duty and wife Melissa, and Bill Higgins and wife Julie; grandchildren Annsly Hobson; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also survive.

Funeral service will held at 12 noon on Saturday July 25, 2026, in the Combs-Hess Funeral and Cremation Service chapel with Bro. Neal Howington and Bro. Steve Dingus officiating. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00am to 12 noon prior to the service.
