Chris Allen Banta

Lebanon, VA- Chris Allen Banta, age 59, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 8, 2021. Born February 5, 1962. He was the son of the late Ralph and Florence Banta. He was a retired truck driver. The last job he loved was at CDI. He was a free spirit traveler and was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his uncle Charlie and aunt Ruthie; and also his best friend and cousin Chuck.

Survivors include his loving wife, Anne Marie Banta; daughter: Kaitlynn Yargeau and fiancé Jose from South Windsor, CT; son: Michael Yargeau and wife Carly of Kyle, TX; sister: Annie Banta; brothers: Billy Banta and John Banta; one granddaughter on the way; his loyal and best friend Rosie; special mother: Sharon Green Meringer and husband Bob of PA; his in-laws: John and Anne Woznicki; along with many cousins.

At Chris’s request, no services will be conducted.
