Lebanon, VA- David Travis Steele, age 37, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Born June 14, 1984. He was a life-long resident of Lebanon. He played basketball and baseball for LHS. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded by his grandfather: George Steele; grandmother: Linda Wyrck; grandfather: Bill Taylor; step-grandfather: Donald Wyrck; and great-grandmother: Angie White.

He is survived by his parents: father: David Steele; mother: Carolyn Steele; brother: Eric Steele and wife Lindsey; nieces: Madison Steele, Ellie Steele, Gabby Steele; nephew: Preston Steele; grandmother: Virginia Steele; uncles: Tim Taylor and wife Donna, Ted Steele and wife Cindy; cousins: Casey Taylor, Cassie Taylor, Kensey Taylor, Kallie Taylor, Brian Tinsley, Chelsea Whittaker and Ashley Steele.

The family will hold a memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, February 21, 2022 at Cedar Pointe Baptist Church with Pastor James Nunley officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. prior to the service.
