Deborah Kay Boardwine

Swords Creek, VA –Deborah Kay Boardwine, age 53, went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 25, 2022. She was born on May 5, 1969. She was the daughter of the Charles Edward Newcomb and Eva Beatrice Downey Ross Newcomb. She enjoyed working on crafts at home, doing Bible studies and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister: Shirley Lowe and her niece: Angie Johnson.

She is survived by her husband of thirty years: Bryan Boardwine; daughter: Mandy Boardwine; sister: Judy Humphery; grandchildren: Kadence, Hayden, and Jacob Boardwine; step-son: Jeremy Boardwine.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, December 29, 2022 in Ketron Memorial Gardens with Pastor Steve Dameron officiating. Those wishing to attend are requested to meet at the cemetery by 1:45 pm.
