Dewey Edward Helbert

Lebanon - Dewey Edward Helbert, age 68, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 15, 2021. Born March 18, 1953. He was the son of the late Gilbert and Trula White Helbert. He was the long time pastor of Well of Grace Fellowship Church. He loved to go fishing and spend time with his friends, family and church family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of forty six years: Peggy Sue Cox Helbert; and brother: Jackie Helbert.

He is survived by his daughter: Susan Helbert; son: Dwayne Helbert and wife April; sisters: Anna Taylor and husband Jerry, Mary Rose and Brenda Helbert; brother: Paul Helbert and wife Cindy; grandson: Justin Salyer; along with several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021 in the Combs-Hess Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Larkin Boothe officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.

A special thanks to niece Peggy and husband Sam Gobble, nephew Darrell and wife Kathy Lampkins and all other family and friends that helped out these past few months.

In lieu of flowers, donations to any local food bank may be made in his memory.
