Edna Sue Bailey

Lebanon, VA – Edna Sue Bailey, age 76, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. Born August 9, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mazie Combs. She liked to work cross word puzzles, the jumble puzzle and play solitaire. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed watching the horses at her house.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: William Combs and Luther Combs; and her special friend: Phyllis Deskins.

Survivors include her sons: Michael Fletcher and wife Mahala, Richard Fletcher and wife Hannah, William “Dusty” Burrell; sisters: Nancy Lambert, Barbara Combs and Bonnie Fleenor; brother: Sammy Combs; along with several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022 in the Combs-Hess Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Darrell Harmon officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
