Fred Campbell Sword

Honaker, VA – Fred C. Sword, Jr., age 70, went to be with the Lord on September 1, 2023. He was born June 28, 1953 to Fred Campbell and Lona (Price) Sword of Corn Valley.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life: Sandy Garrett; 1 brother: Charles Sword; two brothers-in-law: Dan Cook and Harold Stevens.

Survivors include his wife: Rita Sword; his step-children: Tracy, Danny (Amanda), Jonathan, Joshua (Summer) and Keesha Musick of Honaker; two sisters: Nell Stevens and Pinkie Cook of Lebanon; one brother: Don (Rhonda) Sword of Lebanon; eight step-grandchildren: Keesha, Justin, Jalin, Jacob, Derek, Jared, Kiley and Kaleb Musick, all of Honaker; one daughter by choice: Loree Sigmon; a special niece: Cookie Kiser; special cousin: Edith Helton and family; along with several nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Josh, Summer, Cookie, Keesha, and Loree for the care they provided during his sickness.

Services will be private.
