Geary Lynn Smith

Lebanon, VA – Geary Lynn “Cotton” Smith, age 68, went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2022 after a brief illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Fred H. and Iristena K. Smith; and sister: Joyce A. White.

He is survived by his sister: Tammy M. Smith; brother and sister-in-law: Jerry W. and Alice A. Smith; great niece: Courtney D. Hill and great nephew: Fred J. Hill who he helped raise for the last ten years of his life; he is also survived by his nephews: Chad Smith, Michael White, Matthew White; niece: Lora M. White; along with several great nieces and great nephews. 

The services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 9, 2022 in the Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Dr. Don Zampogna officiating.  All those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the mausoleum by 2:45 p.m.
