Glenda Johnson

She was preceded in death by her fiancé Sam Coleman, maternal grandmother Maggie Duncan, paternal grandparents Tony and Marie Powers, aunt Peg, aunt Vonda and cousin Dale.

Glenda was of the Baptist faith and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren especially the baby Addie Brooke, her greatest joy and light of her life.

A beloved daughter, mother, grandmother and sister, Glenda is survived by her parents Buck and Shirley Powers of Castlewood, Va, son, Nathan Johnson and wife Valerie of Castlewood, Va., daughter, Laken Gibson of Castlewood, Va., sister, Melissa Woody of Bristol, Va., brother, Brian Powers and wife Mary of Castlewood, Va, four beautiful grandchildren, Addie Brooke Johnson, Madilynn Riggs, Jada King and Dylan King, niece Madison Woody, several aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her dearly.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church, 1667 Calvary Baptist Road, Castlewood, VA 24224.
