Ila Mae Cook

Honaker, Va.-Ila Mae Cook, age 90, went to be with Lord on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.  She was born September 6, 1933.  

 She was employed at Lebanon Apparel for fifteen years.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Gray and Ortha Cook; brother, Loyd Cook and sister, Marie Cook.

 She is survived by her sister-in-law, Debbie Cook and partner Eddie Hurd; best friends, Susie Ann Berry, Beverly and Roy Honaker, Braeden Dale and Mary Ann Crabtree.

 Her favorite song was Go Rest High On That Mountain.

The funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 2 pm in the Combs Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Guy Harris and Rev. Stephen Musick officiating.   Burial will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home.  

 Serving the family as pallbearers will be Roy Honaker, Richard Crabtree, Matthew Musick, Giles Dotson, Jeramiah Dotson, Darrell Compton, Braeden Dale, Chris Musick and Giles Dotson.
