Janet Lee Shubert

Lebanon, VA – Janet Lee Shubert, age 73, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 8, 2023. Born January 13, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Emory and Rosella Sword. She loved spending time with her granddaughter, enjoyed reading and being with her dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Michael Watson Shubert.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law: Becky Turner; grandchildren: Alexis Shubert, Chazz Jessee, and Will Ball; sisters: Becky Sword and Lisa Campbell (Stanley); nephews: Brain Sword, Jessee Campbell, and Evan Campbell.

A special thanks to the 4^th floor nurses at Russell County Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023 in the Combs-Hess Funeral Service Chapel with Jim Lyttle officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.
