Judy Gale Manuel

Lebanon, VA – Judy Gale Manuel, age 81, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 22, 2023. She was a Registered Nurse at Russell County Medical Center for twenty years. She was the first infection control practitioner and was 2^nd shift Nursing Supervisor at RCMC. She also taught CNA classes at Southwest Community College. She attended Bethel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Tivis and Trula Long; and brother: Denny Long.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-three years: Jerry Manuel; sons: Travis Manuel of Johnson City, TN, Tivis Manuel and wife Misty Brewer of Satellite Beach, FL, and Jeffery Buchanan of Bristol, TN; brother: Timothy Long and wife Vera of Dickensonville, VA; grandchildren: Garrett Manuel of Erwin, TN, Nicholas Manuel, Jackson Manuel, of Satellite Beach, FL; niece: Madeline Long of Mount Airy, NC; and nephew: Joshua Reedy of Johnson City, TN.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023, in the Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Pastor Kenny Bolling  officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Entombment to immediately follow the service.
