June T. Cook, 73, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Warnie and Lena Day; sons, Bobby Joe Kennedy and Michael Day; sister, Jean Kennedy and brothers, Estil Day, Kyle Day and Delmas Day and granddaughter, Tabitha Kennedy.

June had worked as a beautician, loved people and spending time with her family. She attended Ivy Ridge Chapel while her health allowed.

She is survived by her husband, Lannie D. Cook; son, Justin Cook and wife Amber; step-sons, Byron Cook and Ben Vanover; sisters-in-law, Linda Carpenter and Danna Wells; brothers, Roy Day, Pete Day, Calvin “Bones” Day and Dewey Day; granddaughters, Natalie Kennedy, Cammie Kennedy and Anna Cook; grandsons, Elijah Cook, Ayden Cook, Austin Kennedy and Josh Kennedy; step-grandchildren, Samantha Cook, Mercedez Cook, BenLeigh Vanover and Gavin Vanover.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Friday, July 10, 2026 in the Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Phillip Cook officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until 2 pm at the mausoleum. Burial will follow the service in the cemetery.
