Kennie Odell Kiser

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Thelma “Sis” Rasnick Kiser; four sisters: Hazel Kiser Wilson, Nettie Kiser Wilson, Bonnie Kiser and Ruby Kiser; and one brother: Roland Delmer Kiser.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews; and special friend: Arnold Rasnake, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the Combs-Hess Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Jason Wilson, Rev. Roy Lee Wilson and Rev. Larry Stinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Russell Memorial Cemetery. All those wishing to attend should meet at the funeral home by 1:15 p.m. to go in procession to the cemetery. The family requests all that attend the services wear masks.

Serving as pallbearers will be Doug Artrip, Gary Fife, Roger Lythlin, Brett Rasnick, Dave Rasnick, Jason Wilson, Mike Hendricks and Greg Simerly.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Rasnick, Giles Wilson, Lonnie Wilson, B.J. Kiser and Mike Lowe.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cleveland Baptist Church, 127 Hall Street, Cleveland, VA 24225.
