Larry Glenard Grizzle

Lebanon, VA – Larry Glenard Grizzle, age 73, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 4, 2021. Born October 12, 1947. He was the son of the late Glen and Else Grizzle. He loved farming and his dog, Little Girl. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: James Grizzle; sister: Maida Craig; and one infant daughter.

He is survived by his wife of forty two years: Brenda T. Grizzle; children of his heart: Jason Ring, Molly Dillon, John Henry Taylor, and Jessica Taylor; sisters: Winnie Hawkins, Edna Hall, Willie Mae Nash, Gale Edwards, Judy Johnson, Robin Hutson, and Debra Hutson; brothers: Johnny Grizzle, Jack Grizzle, Joe Grizzle, and George Grizzle; grandchildren: Jared Ring, Larry Slade Dillon, Dallas River Dillon and Zachary Taylor; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Larry Glenard Grizzle will be Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Combs-Hess Funeral Service Chapel. With the Rev. Bob Steffey officiating. Burial will be 2:00pm Tuesday February 9, 2021 in the Grizzle Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Isial Grizzle, Jody Grizzle, Larry Slade Dillon, Matthew Duncan, Billy Hutson and Ben Hutson.
