Lavona Faye Alexander

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-one years: Kenneth Newton Alexander; daughter: Lavona Arcel Alexander; and sister: Brenda Wheeler.

Survivors include her daughter: Lisa Ann Bellamy and husband Robert; several sisters and brothers all of whom reside in Kentucky; along with several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, support.woundedwarriorproject.org.

Memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Combs-Hess Funeral Service Chapel with Minister Seth Atkinson officiating. Private interment will follow the service in Mt. Olive Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service.
