Lois Jean Hicks

Castlewood, VA – Lois Jean Hicks, age 62, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Lois loved to fish and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 Lois was preceded in death by her parents Gene and Wanda Murphy and mother-in-law, Mary Hicks.

She is survived by her husband, James William Hicks; daughters, April Renae Patton and Amanda Hensley; son, William James Hicks; sisters, Patty Murphy and Beth Murphy; brothers, Alan Murphy and Randy Murphy; six grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and niece, Joyce Newell.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
