Louise Smith-Ramey

Honaker, VA – Louise Smith-Ramey, age 68, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Dewey and Minnie Smith. She loved the Lord, was a loving wife of twenty-two years and loved her two puppies, Sugar and Louie. She retired from the Department of Corrections after serving thirty-five years as an R.N. She attended Community Heights Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Kaye Little, Jean Dotson, Connie Boggs, and infant sister: Christine; and her nephew: Andrew Dotson.

She is survived by her husband: Johnny Ramey; brothers: Jerry Smith and wife Chris, and Jeff Smith; several nieces and nephews, special niece: Beth Davis; and special nephew: Todd Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2023, in the Combs-Hess Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Danny Rhea officiating with the burial immediately following the service in Ketron Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Clay Smith, Logan Smith, Todd Smith, T.J. Davis, and David Smith.
