Nancy A. Dye

Lebanon, VA – Nancy A. Dye, age 81, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 12, 2021. Born March 2, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Nora Puckett. Nancy was a true blessing to be around. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Old Path Independent Church. A great Christian lady, who’s heart was always wanting to help others. Nancy was a care giver to several ladies over the past twenty-five years. She had many close friends and was truly loved by all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William “Bill” Dye; brother: Roy Puckett, Jr.; two sisters: Betty Walls and Wilma Elswick.

She is survived by her daughter: Debra Ann Rhea and husband Ronnie; sons: Ricky Dye and wife Sharon, Eddie Dye and wife Teressa; sister: Lois Ring; brother: Bob Puckett; eight grandchildren: Matt Dye and wife Ashton, Miranda Sproles and husband Josh, Josh Dye and wife LaRae, Dan Dye and wife Brittany, Jessica Rest and husband Stephen, Stephanie, Alex and Robert Rhea; great-grandchildren: Aiden, Noah, Laura, Carter and Sawyer; several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2021 in the Combs – Hess Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Jeff Kinder officiating. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Ketron Memorial Gardens. Anyone wishing to attend should meet at the funeral home by 10:30 to go in procession to the cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Matt Dye, Josh Dye, Dan Dye, Stephen Rest, Josh Sproles, Alex Rhea.

Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren.
