Priscilla Jessee Bacorn, 74, went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2025, in Lebanon, Virginia. Priscilla was born on July 21, 1951, the daughter of the late Billy Lee Jessee and Fay Christine Jessee. She had previously worked at Ingersoll Rand as a bookkeeper and at the Cumberland Plateau Planning District Commission. She was a member of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed music, cooking, sewing, and socializing with friends. She was an excellent pianist and taught piano lessons for many years. She was an animal lover and a great companion and caretaker to the many dogs and cats that she had throughout her life.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband Robin Bacorn, from Smithfield, Virginia. She is survived by one daughter, Jessica Fay Smith Phillips (Michael) of Charlottesville, Virginia, from her previous marriage to Robert Neal Smith, Jr. She is further survived by two brothers, David Lee Jessee (Deborah) of Roanoke, Virginia and Thomas Christopher Jessee (Nancy) of Winterhaven, Florida, several very sweet nieces, and one grandson who she loved and cherished very much, Matthew William Phillips.
A small memorial service will be held at a later date in accordance with Priscilla’s wishes. Expressions of grief may be made on the website, and in lieu of flowers, the family asks for consideration of a donation to a local animal shelter in her name.
