Ralph Garland Campbell

Ralph Garland Campbell, 83, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Garland Campbell and Hattie Lynn Collins Campbell; wife Barbara Sue Campbell and brother, Wiley Campbell.

Ralph loved to work and go to church. He retired from Pittston Coal Company as a heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include son, Robert Campbell and wife Toni; sister, Carol Gray and husband Doug; grandchildren, Chelsea Fiddler and husband Nathaniel; step-grandchildren, Seth Street and wife Tanya; step-great-grandchild, Hunter Street. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be conducted at 7 pm Saturday, June 20, 2026 in the Combs-Hess Funeral and Cremation Service chapel with Rev. Chris Shanks officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm. Burial will follow 2 pm Sunday, June 21, 2026 in the Campbell Family Cemetery with Rev. Robbie Dockery officiating. Those wishing to attend should meet at the cemetery by 1:45 pm.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
