Rev. Clyde Lines Gamble

Honaker, VA- Rev. Clyde Lines Gamble, age 74, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 22, 2021. Born December 7, 1946. He was the son of the late John and Eula Gamble. He had been in ministry most of his life and he loved to help people. For the past two years, he served as the associate pastor of Rosedale Baptist Church, served as pastor of Grace Baptist Church of Lebanon and Valley View Baptist Church of Abingdon, along with several other churches. He enjoyed wood working and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife: Beulah Tiller Gamble; second wife: Caroline Boothe Gamble; brothers: Clinton Gamble, Jack Gamble and Mark Gamble.

Survivors include his wife: Donna Barton Gamble; daughter: Mary Gamble Snead and husband Mark of Weber City; sons: Clay Gamble and wife Sheila of Bristol, Clell Gamble and wife Stacy of Blountville and Dave Gamble and wife Tina of Weber City; step-son: Dwayne Barton and wife Melissa of Honaker; sister: Gale Sykes and husband Ron of Bristol; brothers: Wayne Gamble and wife Ruby of LaFollette, TN, Mac Gamble of Abingdon, Foster Gamble of Lebanon and Rush Gamble and wife Mary of Lebanon; grandchildren: Jarrod Snead, Nickolas Snead, Shelby Gamble, Samantha Christian, Makayla Jaramillo, Taylor Reed, Brady Gamble, Cody Fleenor and Shawna Christian; great-grandchildren: Victoria Snead, Brooklyn Snead, Waylon Snead, Emmalyne Jaramillo, Elora Jaramillo, Ben Christian, Blaze Christian, Neo Christian, Skyla Christian and Parker Reed; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Rev. Clyde Gamble in be held Monday October 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Ketron Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jeff Kinder officiating. Anyone wishing to attend is asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:45 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Rosedale Baptist Church.

Serving as pallbearers will be the Deacons of Rosedale Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be everyone at Rosedale Baptist Church.

Military honors will be conducted by Lebanon VFW Post #9864.

A special thanks to the fifth floor staff of Clinch Valley Medical Center.
