Riley Aden Wyatt, 20, of Lebanon, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday December 9, 2025. Born July 16, 2005, he was the son of Bobbie Herbert and Roger Wyatt. He was cherished and raised by his grandparents Teresa “Nannie” Herbert and Glenn “Poppy” Herbert. He was preceded in death by his mother and his grandmother and several family members. Poppy was always there to care for him and kept him until the end.
Survivors include his brothers, Skyler Wyatt and Chirstian Wyatt; his caretakers and family include, but not limited to, his great aunt Ruby Boyd and husband Richard; uncle Glenn D. Herbert and wife Anita; aunt Betty Johnson and husband Denver; aunt Miranda Herbert, uncle James Herbert and wife Becki; several cousins especially Cassidy, Tracy, Jake, Allison, Whitley, Todd, Seth, Christopher, Mayhayley, Emory and Graceson. Also special thanks to his high school aide, Roslind Street and his newest caretaker and brother, Jody Smith who came into his life exactly when he needed them both. So many special friends, we can’t name them all.
Riley was a loving and caring soul who touched the hearts of thousands before he was called home. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 2023 and attended Southwest Virginia Community College. He was part of the FFA and many church communities, trucking families, big rig crews, and hunting and fishing groups both in life and online. In his short lifetime, he grew a family of friends that fiercely loved him inside and out. He was a voice of reason in dark times and a beacon of hope and inspiration that guided our souls to uplift us with love and laughter. He was a hell-raiser and one of the good ole boys who always pushed the limits of what he could do. He was the best DJ and navigator a person could ask for. A True Ride or Die for so many. Roll on Rolo and don’t look back, we love you!
Funeral service will be conducted 7:00pm Saturday December 13, 2025, at Rosedale Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Kinder officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7pm prior to the service.
