Stella Mae Lasley

Lebanon, VA – Stella Mae Lasley, age 97, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at her home with her two children by her side. Born July 2, 1924 in Bristol, TN. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Dora Ellen Reed. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she preceded in death by her husband of sixty-seven years: Howard Lasley; sister: Geneva Shoemaker; three brothers: Billy, Worley and Roy.

She is survived by her daughter Judy Lasley of Lebanon, VA and her son William “Inky” Lasley and fiancé Nova Wallace of Abingdon, VA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2021 in the Combs-Hess Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Arnold King officiating. Burial will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service.

Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
