Susie Barton Fife

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Clyde Harry Fife; her parents; brothers: Jerry and Frank Barton; sister: Bonnie Barton Sandridge; sisters-in-law: Helen Combs, Bertha Fife and Charlotte Barton; brothers-in-law: Floyd Combs, Herman Fife, Claude Fife, James Fife and Ed Sandridge; niece: Dana Barton; nephews: Bobby and Tommy Fife.

Survivors include her daughters: Pamela Fife, Jan Kennedy and son-in-law Jay Kennedy. Also surviving are her grandchildren: AJ (Angela) Kennedy, Alex (Keely) Kennedy, and Kathrynn (BJ) Fink. Susie also leaves five beautiful great-granddaughters: Astelle, Ryleigh, Reese, Elowyn and Finley. In addition, she is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, great grand-dogs and so, so many loving friends.

Susie loved babies and animals, friends, family and her Lord Jesus. She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church where she loved to sing and serve with her church family. She also loved her community and the beautiful mountains that she always called home, no matter how far away she was at the time.

Susie’s going home celebration will be arranged with a visitation on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Combs-Hess Funeral Service Chapel in Lebanon with a funeral service officiated by Rev. Tom Edwards and Rev. Jay Kennedy to take place on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow the service at Russell Memorial Cemetery.
