Teresa Sue Mitchell

Teresa Sue Mitchell, age, 60, of Cleveland, VA, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2026, in the Ballad Hospice House of Bristol surrounded by her loved ones.

Teresa Sue Mitchell was born on July 8, 1966, in Detroit, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Carlos “Spud” Turner and Pauline Turner. Teresa graduated from Lebanon High School.

Teresa will be remembered for her warm, kind, spunky personality and for the love she poured into her children and grandchildren. She will be forever missed dearly by those that love her, but her beautiful spirit will continue to shine through her kids and grandkids.

Besides her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Mitchell.

She leaves behind her mother, Pauline Turner; her four sisters, Sherry, Carline, Cindy, and Janie; her daughter, Tabatha and Son, Benjamin and their six children Kali, Conlay, Madison, Jace, Jaren, and Jameson; her cherished partner, Major Bud Sykes; as well as her friends and her pup, Milo.

A private committal service will be conducted in the Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
