Wanda "Granny" Faye Wolfe

Wanda Faye “Granny” Wolfe, age 78, of Lebanon went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

Wanda was born October 25, 1947, in Lebanon, Va to the late Rufus and Rosa Sword Lasley. She loved to talk on the telephone and listen to the scanner. Wanda enjoyed spending the holidays with her family and enjoyed going to church.

Besides her parents Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Giles Henry “Lobo” Wolfe; brothers, Robert Earl Lasley, James Edward Lasley, Rufus “Tobe” Lasley; sisters, Linda Lee Lasley, Brenda Gail Shoemaker, Rebecca Ann Dotson, and Jane Russell Hall.

Wanda is survived by her sisters, Margaret “Penny” Lasley and Myrtle Louise Dye, several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services for Wanda Faye “Granny” Wolfe will be conducted 1 pm Saturday, April 11, 2026, in the Combs-Hess Funeral & Cremation Service chapel with the Rev. Donnie Musick officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until time of service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The burial service will be private in West Hill Cemetery.
