William "Billy" David Sutherland

William “Billy” David Sutherland, age 60, went to be the Lord Monday August 18, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born April 22, 1965, the son of the late Robert Garland Sutherland and Betty Ruth Cox Blevins. Billy was a very hard worker, he loved listening to music, watching sports but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his aunt: Dorothy Ireson and uncle: James Cox Jr.

Billy is survived by his son: Chase Sutherland and wife Allie; daughter: Brooke Sutherland; grandchildren: Melody Cunningham, Nathaniel Skinner, Heaven Sutherland, Aiden Sutherland, Serenity Sutherland, and Lyric Sutherland; brothers: Jimmy Sutherland and Michael Blevins and wife Brittney; sisters: Debbie Coe and husband Alan, Marsha Sutherland, and Michelle Spencer and husband Terry; aunts: Carolyn Sue Diamond and Ruth Cox; uncle: Randy Cox. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday August 20, 2025, in the Combs-Hess Funeral and Cremation Service chapel. Burial will follow in the Russell Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:00pm prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Randy Cox, Seth Cox, Caleb Cox. Jason Coe, Mike Cox and Greg Cox.
