Willie Vardy Mullins
Castlewood, VA – Willie Vardy Mullins, age 91, went to be with the Lord on December25, 2020. Born September 14, 1929. He was the son of the late Arved and Meldy Mullins. He enjoyed the farm life, working horses and raising chickens.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice Hurd Mullins; siblings: James Moon Mullins, Raymond Mullins, Hazel Johnson, Lucille Johnson, Lorean Mullins.
He is survived by his two daughters: Willie Mullins and husband Larry, Jackie Jackson and husband George; two sons: Bill Mullins and fiancé Elizabeth Ward, Jeff Mullins and fiancé Tammy Lindley; one brother: Burt Lee Mullins and wife Nanny; three grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the Molls Creek Church with Pastor Cuba Porter officiating. Burial will follow at the Mullins Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, December 28, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Molls Creek Church.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dave Osborne, Ike Johnson, Marvin Lane, Mike Osborne, Johnny Mullins, and Troy Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandson, great-grandsons, and nephews.
In consideration of the health and safety of all those attending the service, Combs – Hess Funeral Service and the family strongly encourages all CDC guidelines be followed, including the use of a face mask.
